OGRA is a matching service. It introduces students travelling the same way at the same time and works out how to split the fare between them. [OGRA — replace with the registered legal entity and address] is not a transport company: we do not own vehicles, we do not employ drivers, and we do not carry you. The journey itself is between you, the other riders, and whichever driver or vehicle you use.
You must be at least 16, a student or staff member of a participating university, and able to enter a binding agreement. You must give a real name and a mobile number you control. One account per person.
Each shared trip has a lead rider who books and pays the driver. After the trip the lead uploads the fare, and it is split between the riders in proportion to the distance each of them travelled. Once the fare is set it is locked. If the uploaded fare is far above what the trip was estimated to cost, we cap the amount that can be settled through the app and tell both riders, so that a mistyped or mis-read fare cannot empty someone's wallet — raise a dispute if the capped figure is wrong.
Cancelling before anyone has joined your ride costs nothing. Once a rider has joined, a cancellation may carry a fee, which is shown to you before you confirm. If you do not turn up, the rider waiting for you can start a timer and report a no-show after it elapses; that can forfeit part of your deposit to the person who waited. Both actions record the reporter's location as evidence. If you think a report was wrong, raise a dispute in the app.
Be on time, be civil, and do not use OGRA to harass anyone, to carry anything illegal, or to run a commercial taxi service. We can suspend or remove an account that does. Ratings and reviews must be honest and about the trip.
Your wallet holds funds you have added and amounts settled between riders. Matching fees, cancellation fees and no-show forfeits are taken from it and are shown in Wallet activity. Fees are stated in the app before you incur them.
We provide the matching service with reasonable care, but we do not promise that a match will be found, that a trip will run on time, or that another rider will behave well. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless we are prevented from doing so.
